The Golden Cocila

Kithell came and stood next to her awkwardly. "Niphia? Are you alright?"

Niphia flung her arms around his neck and cried on his shoulder, her sobs shaking her body.

Kithell's eyes widened as he stared at his brother in shock, unsure of what to do. He awkwardly patted her back. Sormir bit back a smile at his brother's confusion.

Sometimes I think one of the twins is a better match for Niphia than Xanderis is.

Amber continued laughing silently, unaware of the turmoil she was causing for Niphia.

Niphia sniffed and tried to stop crying. She couldn't. She felt betrayed by her best friend.

"What's wrong?" Kithell asked again, more gently this time, trying not to look as confused.

Xanderis put his head on the table, unable to keep his whole body from shaking with his suppressed laughter.

Niphia pulled back and wiped her eyes, then smiled. "It's nothing. Sorry."


Amber yawned. "Maybe we should scram before we're found out."

"Are you sure?" Kithell looked at her closely.

Xanderis nodded. "Yeah, good idea. Hey, what are your plans for tomorrow?"

Niphia nodded, and choked back another sob. "I'm fine." She smiled again. (Not very convincingly)


"None, really. It's a Saturday, so.... not much."

Sormir shook his head. "You were bawling."
Kithell shoved him, trying to make him shut up.

Xanderis nodded thoughtfully, getting out of his chair to leave the tavern. "Well, I think we need to do something. What kind of fun could we get into?"

"Just... friend issues."


Amber got up to follow Xanderis, taking the chair with her.

Kithell looked at her sympathetically. "So... what do you want to do?"

Xanderis grinned at Amber and held the door open for her. "Milady," he said, bowing.

*OOC* I think we need to end this day soon. Really.

Niphia shrugged. "I'm tired. I think I'll just go home."


Amber smiled at xanderis; she saw Niphia standing with Kithell and Sormir.

Agreed. Shall we tell Nick?

Kithell nodded. "Okay. That's probably a good idea. It's getting late."

Xanderis grinned and elbowed Amber. "Niphia's making friends," he said in a singsong voice.

Boom. Let's just say that Niphia got mad at Amber and went home, so Amber asked if she could stay at Xanderis's then?
